Is prior teaching experience essential to join SaPa as a music instructor?
While prior teaching experience is valuable, SaPa values a deep passion for music and a strong musical background. The desire to educate and inspire is equally significant. We also have a very rigorous teacher training program which every SaPa teacher has to go through to complete their certification. This program will not teach you music – for that is something you already are good at. The program aims to train you on how to teach the SaPa way. We also have frequent reskilling programs that we expect all teachers to attend.

SaPa offers a diverse curriculum that encompasses classical, contemporary, world music. We teach Carnatic, Hindustani and Western; Vocals and instrumentals. Your expertise in any genre can find its place within the school’s comprehensive offerings.
